- In the story, the man has to adjust to the new light that he sees, since he is so used to being in the dark. Do you think that people would not want to adjust to the light and not even leave the cave, even if they had the chance?
- Do you think it would be possible to persuade the people still in the cave to come out or will they always want to remain in the cave?
- How does society shape the way we perceive light and darkness?
